The Fleet Air Arm Museum is a captivating destination steeped in the rich heritage of naval aviation. As Europe’s largest museum of its kind, it offers an immersive experience into the evolution of flight at sea through a remarkable collection of over 100 aircraft and a wealth of archival records and artefacts.

Visitors can explore exciting exhibits such as the updated “Aircraft Carrier Experience”, which gives an insider’s view into life on board a modern aircraft carrier, and the “Falklands Conflict Exhibition”, featuring displays like “Humphrey” the famous Mk3 Wessex helicopter. Another highlight is “Barracuda Live: The Big Rebuild”, where you can witness conservation in action as the rare Fairey Barracuda is being meticulously restored.

Additionally, the museum houses Concorde 002, the first British Concorde prototype that visitors can explore, along with live viewing areas for Royal Navy Merlin and Wildcat helicopters during flying demonstrations.
