Housed in the former British School House on Broadway Road, Moreton-in-Marsh, the Wellington Aviation Museum preserves the legacy of RAF bomber training at the local 21 Operational Training Unit. Within its compact, volunteer-run galleries, visitors discover an exceptional private collection of wartime artefacts—from Wellington bomber sections and flight instruments to personal kit, uniforms and wartime posters—alongside passionate interpretive displays that chronicle local “Wings for Victory” fundraising, POW camps and the D-Day encampment of the U.S. 6th Armoured Division.

Facilities include:

  • Free on-site parking and step-free access

  • Induction-loop hearing assistance
  • Museum shop stocked with books, models and refreshments
  • Educational programmes and restoration-work viewings on Wednesdays
  • Guided tours available by appointment
