Description

The Ulster Aviation Society is a volunteer-run charity preserving Northern Ireland’s aviation heritage in two authentic Second World War hangars at Maze Long Kesh, Lisburn. Its collection of over 54 aircraft and vehicles includes vintage civilian types, WWII fighters, Cold War jets (Red Arrows Hawk, Tornado GR.4, Phantom FG.1, Jaguar GR.3A), Irish Air Corps helicopters (Lynx, Gazelle, Puma) and more.

Visitors enjoy free guided tours (booking required), cockpit access, live restoration workshops and a specialist aviation library stocked with rare reference materials.

Interactive experiences include seven flight simulators and six VR headsets.

Facilities comprise wheelchair access, accessible toilets, free parking, a gift shop offering books, scale models and memorabilia, plus on-site Wi-Fi.
