Description

The Royal Signals Museum, nestled in the countryside of Blandford Camp, Dorset, traces over a century of the British Army’s battlefield communications—from the telegraph to cyber warfare and satellite networks—through immersive, interactive galleries. Visitors can guide a laser beam, “direction find” a target, set up satellite links, practice Morse code and explore the evolution of signalling kit.

Facilities include free on-site parking, accessible ramps and lifts, induction-loop assistance, wheelchair and mobility-scooter loans, the Communications Café, museum shop, cloakroom, and volunteer-led guided tours.

Special exhibits spotlight command and communication vehicles, original wireless and cryptographic equipment, the Women at War and Animals at War galleries, and clandestine SOE artefacts.
