Located on the former World War II airfield at Winthorpe in Nottinghamshire, the Newark Air Museum houses over 80 aircraft and cockpit sections spanning civilian and military aviation history.
Its collection features 10 National Benchmark and 29 significant aircraft, including iconic types like the Avro Vulcan, English Electric Canberra, and Saab Draken, all displayed across two undercover halls and open-air positions.
Visitors can explore more than 30 aero engines, interactive cockpit access points, and restoration workshops that showcase volunteer-led preservation efforts.
The museum’s facilities include an on-site café serving hot and cold refreshments, a well-stocked gift shop, free on-site parking, and picnic areas for families.
