Description

The Aerospace Bristol museum sits on historic Filton Airfield, guiding visitors through more than a century of local aerospace innovation. Its centrepiece is Concorde Alpha Foxtrot—housed in a purpose-built hangar with a spectacular projection show—flanked by interactive galleries tracing eras from the pioneering Boxkite through two world wars to the jet age and space race.

A restored WWI hangar hosts the Conservation in Action workshop, where volunteers work on projects like the Bristol Bolingbroke and Freighter.

Facilities include a café serving light meals and refreshments, a well-stocked gift shop, free on-site parking, accessible toilets, outdoor play and picnic areas, plus family-friendly trails and learning spaces for schools.
